I carabinieri del Nucleo Investigativo di Torre Annunziata e i finanzieri del Nucleo di Polizia Economico Finanziaria di Salerno hanno eseguito due ordinanze di custodia cautelare emesse nell’ambito del medesimo procedimento dal Gip del Tribunale di Napoli su richiesta della Direzione Distrettuale Antimafia nei confronti di 11 soggetti, nei confronti di nove dei quali il Gip ha disposto la custodia cautelare in carcere, gli altri due disponendone gli arresti domiciliari. Sono ritenuti promotori o affiliati o agevolatori di una nuova associazione mafiosa armata, il clan Batti, operante nei comuni di San Giuseppe Vesuviano, Terzigno e zone limitrofe. Gli 11 soggetti risultano indagati, a vario titolo, per i reati di associazione a delinquere di stampo mafioso, traffico e spaccio di sostanze stupefacenti, detenzione illegale di arma da fuoco, estorsione e violenza privata, aggravate dal metodo mafioso e dallo scopo di favorire il clan Batti.
